Vancouver stadium guide
BC Place is Vancouver's large downtown stadium at 777 Pacific Boulevard. It hosts Vancouver Whitecaps FC, BC Lions, international sport, major concerts and special events.
Getting there
Stadium-Chinatown is the closest regular SkyTrain station. BC Place says Gates A, B and H are about a five-minute walk from the station's Beatty Street side. Yaletown-Roundhouse provides another approach from the Canada Line.
Driving and parking
BC Place lists nearby event parking in roughly the $10–$30 range, but the lots are operated separately and event prices vary. There is an accessible drop-off at street level on Pacific Boulevard under Gate F.
Family and accessibility
Accessible seating, universal/family washrooms and accessibility features are available throughout the venue. Standard events generally open guest entrances about 60 minutes before start time, while premium entrances open earlier. Always check the event page because special events can use different rules.
FIFA World Cup 2026
World Cup match days use a special spectator route and transportation plan. Official local guidance tells spectators to approach through Main Street–Science World and begin heading toward the stadium at least two hours before kickoff. Parking around the venue will be extremely limited.
Choose your entrance before arrival
BC Place is large enough that arriving at the wrong side can add unnecessary walking. Check the ticket for the assigned gate and compare that with your SkyTrain or drop-off approach before leaving.
Food and neighbourhood options
Yaletown, Chinatown and the stadium district all provide pre-event food. A meal close to the venue also gives you a buffer if security lines are longer than expected.
Concerts versus sports
Floor configurations, entrances and sightlines can change dramatically for concerts. A seat that is excellent for football or soccer may not translate the same way to a stage setup, so always study the event-specific seating map.
