About Vancouver-BC.info
Vancouver-BC.info is an independent city guide built to help visitors and residents make practical decisions. The site is not the City of Vancouver, Destination Vancouver or a government service. Our goal is to answer the planning questions that generic attraction lists often leave out: where a place is, how long it deserves, what belongs nearby, what can go wrong and which information must be checked before travel.
How we build the guides
We organize information around real visitor tasks: choosing a neighbourhood, building a day, comparing transportation, attending a game, reaching YVR, planning a cruise, finding an outdoor activity or deciding whether a regional side trip is realistic.
What we verify
Operational facts are checked against primary sources where practical, including the City of Vancouver, TransLink, YVR, official attractions, venues, teams and government agencies. Time-sensitive details such as admission, parking, event schedules and seasonal facilities should still be reconfirmed by the reader before travel.
Commercial and related-site links
Some articles link to transportation businesses or related regional guides when they directly help with the planning question. Those links do not change our recommendation that visitors compare transit, taxi, rideshare, driving and private transportation according to the trip. A downtown sightseeing day and a five-passenger airport transfer with luggage should not receive the same advice.
What this site does not do
We do not claim to be an official tourism authority, municipal service or emergency resource. We do not guarantee third-party prices, schedules or availability. We also avoid ranking a business as the “best” unless there is a transparent, supportable basis for that claim.
Corrections
Vancouver changes quickly. If a factual detail has become outdated, use the site's contact channel to identify the page and the information that needs review. Corrections should be based on a reliable current source.
